Saturday, May 1st, 1965: Culp - NL's Pitcher of the Month
Ray Culp has made fans throughout Other Reality Baseball 2 take notice over the past month with an exceptional 3-0 record. No pitcher in the National threw better in April, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today.

In 3 starts Culp compiled a 0.39 ERA, putting up a 3-0 record, striking out 22 and tossing 23 innings.

Wednesday, April 28th, 1965: Monbouquette Blanks Pirates
"I had everything working for me out there. I used every one of my pitches, hit both sides of the plate really well and felt like I could do whatever I wanted."

With stuff like that, it was easy for Bill Monbouquette of the Dodgers to handcuff the Pirates 4-0 and come away with a complete-game 3-hit shutout. He recorded 2 strikeouts and 1 walk in an impressive performance.

Saturday, April 24th, 1965: Davis Signs for 3 years
Media analysts hailed Los Angeles's signing of Willie Davis, one of Other Reality Baseball 2's brightest stars, as a pivotal move.

While the deal is certain to raise a few eyebrows, Davis is expected to earn every bit of the $2,329,200 promised him over 3 years.

This season Davis has hit at a .425 clip with 2 RBIs, 1 home runs and 5 runs scored.
